Innovative Community Participation
Receive your needed assistance in accessing and participating in mainstream
activities you are interested in. Innovative community participation encourages you
to increase your social interaction with other people, enjoy social activities and live a
more exciting and active lifestyle.
Example activities include but are not limited to: attending arts and craft workshops,
gardening classes, setting up social media, etc.
As with all DSU services, our NDIS-certified support workers conduct treatments
with the utmost care, dignity and respect for all DSU clients.

Attend areas and activities in the community that you enjoy with ease and safety.

• Visiting the library
• Attending social outings or events

Group and Centre Based Activities
Receive assistance in accessing activities that are group or centre-based that
allow you to enjoy various activities with fellow participants.
Group-based activities may include dance classes and cooking classes, while
centre-based activities may include more active pursuits such as soccer,
basketball, sports etc.
